Environmental Hazards of Wasting Food in the US

Hey Guys,

Researchers in Maryland have discovered some very scary data about the ammount of waste Americans waste each year. We, as a country, waste about 40 percent of our food supply by throwing it out. This food we waste accounts for about a quarter of fresh water supply and millions of barrels of oil. It also releases methane when the food rots, which is much more worse for the environment than carbon dioxide. A pretty interesting article if you get a chance to read it.

Nuclear Power

Hey Guys,

Found this article on the Economist and it was very interesting. Everyone is pushing for nuclear power but this like coal and other fossil fuels is also a finite source of energy. Pretty interesting article.
